Pam Stucky is a travel enthusiast, an amateur photographer, a backseat philosopher, an occasional gardener, and an excellent baker, and a previously horrible chef who has recently discovered the joys and ease of crock pot cooking. After trying about every kind of office job she could think of, Pam finally decided to give writing a go. Letters from Wishing Rock is Pam’s first novel. She is currently at work on the second book in the series.

  1. I loved it. Especially giggled at the zucchini and cabbages bit. You are so ornery! Can’t wait for the book! 🙂

  2. Pam, I loved your blog! Email when you can, I have a few questions you might be able to answer. You have a great outlook! Can’t wait for your next blog! Sinead

  3. Pam,

I saw you on the early news hour with Mary Nam on KOMO4 last week so checked with Amazon to see if your book was in Kindle form yet! I bought your book and started reading it immediately. What a wonderful surprise! Honestly, I want to go live in the Box at Wishing Rock. This great community had just about everything anyone might need: an apartment, views of the island, mountains, and Sound, employers, shops, post office, events and challenges, and really interesting people for friends. News spread as quick as anyone could text or e-mail and the refreshingly open and honest relationships made for a real sense of “family”. I just finished your book yesterday and wanted you to know how much I loved it (of course, it helps that I live in the Puget Sound, as well, and love it). If there is to be a sequel, when might this possibly happen? Please tell me it will be soon!!!!!

  4. JoAnne – Thank you SO MUCH! I had no idea if anyone was watching the show and am so delighted to hear that not only did you watch but you also bought the book, and not only did you buy it but you enjoyed it! Thank you! Yes, there’s a sequel in the works. I’m hoping to get a good amount of writing done soon. I would love to have it done by the end of the year … we’ll see if that happens!
